Duox 2 & 1.6b

hi just wanting to know if i can use my last Duox 2 chip on a 1.6b version if i follow the 1.6 diags.

Yes it will work..If you have the White edition Duox2 then make sure to flash it with M8Plus_16..If you have the Blue Duox2 then it already comes preflashed with the M8Plus16

thank you i was hopeing it whould, i am just going to order some more xbox chips which do you think are the best buy at the moment that match reliability of the Duox 2 and price

None...Aladdins used to be good but with all the doggy clones its hard to get a good working one.

Duox2 are by far the best for the price and guaranteed to work on every system version to date

thats what i think are you using new ones with cromwell bios

I like to buy the blues ones becuase since they already come preflashed with with 2 Bios (one for 1.0-1.5 xboxes and one for 1.6/1.6b xboxes) and when I reflash them I just use Evox..But if the White ones are at good prices I'll get them, they are the same exact thing you just need to make a Bios Flash disk.

Also don't be surpised if Bank 1 doen't work on 1.6 xboxes (Bank one comes with Flashbios) since you will most likely get no video (maybe after a couple of boots or if you get lucky on the first), its NOT a faulty chip so just switch over to Bank 0 (cromwell Bios) which works fine on 1.6 xboxes.
